just wanted to say thank you again for looking after us (Mike, Johnno and I) on our recent fishing trip.
Thanks for realising age has curtailed how sprightly a couple of us are. You did a great job of looking out for us throughout our trip and putting us onto some great fish. Beats the hell out of catching squid and whiting in Adelaide! Those simple things you did like reading the conditions to make the boat ride more gentle on the back and giving fair warning when maneuvering the boat so we could get our balance were very much appreciated. Even those times when you said things like “nice one!” when we nailed a cast made us enjoy the trip. It’s the little things that count.
Thank you for all the tips and education about using the different lures/plastics/vibes, winding techniques and casting placement. Hopefully I can put it into practice when I come back. Sorry about losing all those big bloody fish too! I’m sure at least one of them would have made a great photo but I guess that’s fishing hey.
Hopefully I can rustle up a few of my mates to get their arses up North and throw a line in with you. Fingers crossed.
