As you fly over the Tiwi Islands you’ll be taken in with fascination at the size and scenery of a tree top covered land scape and the many snaking bends of the estuaries scattered through the Tiwi Islands. The beauty from above brings a sense of the anticipation.
When you touch down at Milikapiti airstrip, you will be greeted by our friendly team members and transported by bus to the lodge where you will be welcomed further by the rest of the team and your guide.
After a brief introduction by the host, grab a drink from the bar and settle in for your trip.
Each afternoon at 5.30pm you will be served a variety of delectable nibbles, followed by a mouthwatering, spoiled for choice buffet dinner ensuing at 7.00pm.
To start your morning off, continental breakfast will be available from 5:00am, followed by a delicious hot buffet breakfast at 6:00am.
When you’ve finished brekky, gather any personal items you wish to take with you on your days fishing, and make your way to the boat.
All the boats have a spacious casting deck, as they are purpose-built 6.5 meter long, Custom Works vessel. They are powered by a 175hp Suzuki outboard motor and are equipped with absolutely everything to make your trip safe and memorable.
At lunch time, your guide will anchor up in a nice shady spot where you can take a break while you have a bite to eat.
By 4.30pm you will be back at the lodge, chilling on the deck with a cold refreshing beverage, chatting about the days fishing, and eagerly ready to do it all again.
