We reserve the right to update pricing, itineraries, and terms at any time without notice. By booking with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Pricing & Quotations
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Quotes are subject to availability and confirmed once a deposit is received.
  • Package prices include:
    • Accommodation (single or twin share)
    • Meals & non-alcoholic drinks
    • Guided fishing & use of equipment (excluding fly gear)
    • Return charter flights Darwin ↔ Tiwi Islands
    • Permits & GST
  1. Luggage
  • 10kg per person weight limit on charter flights.
  • Tiwi Islands Adventures is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage — travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  1. Guest Conduct

Guests must follow all reasonable directions from staff to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone.
We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behaviour is unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive — without refund.
Please be respectful toward Tiwi Island Traditional Owners and community members.

  1. Catch & Release Policy

We promote “Catch and Release” fishing. Only fish required for immediate consumption at the lodge are kept.

  1. Fishing Gear

All rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Guests are responsible for the cost of lost or damaged equipment.

  1. Health & Fitness

Due to our remote location, all guests must have sufficient mobility and good health to participate safely.
We may request a doctor’s certificate or, if necessary, ask a guest to cease participation for safety reasons.
Please advise us of any medical or dietary requirements when booking.

  1. Bookings & Payments
  • 25% deposit due within 7 days of booking.
  • Full payment due 30 days before arrival.
  • Bookings made within 30 days must be paid in full at confirmation.
  • Group bookings may be re-priced if numbers change.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.
  • Payments via EFT or cheque only (credit by prior arrangement).
  1. Itinerary Changes

Weather or safety conditions may require us to alter itineraries. These decisions are final and not subject to refund.

  1. Cancellations & Postponements
  • 60+ days before trip: full refund or deposit held for 12 months.
  • 30–59 days: 20% cancellation fee (or 10% postponement fee).
  • Under 30 days: 50% cancellation fee (or 20% postponement fee).
  • All cancellations must be in writing.
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance for unexpected cancellations or delays.
  1. Liability & Risks

Tiwi Islands Adventures operates in remote, rugged, and natural environments.
Guests accept all risks associated with weather, wildlife, and outdoor activities.
We are not liable for injuries, delays, or losses arising from conditions beyond our control, including those caused by third-party providers or extreme weather events.

  1. Governing Law

All bookings are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory of Australia, with exclusive jurisdiction in NT courts.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions form the entire agreement between the guest and Tiwi Islands Adventures.
