Experience some of the best fishing in Australia with a fully customisable Tiwi Island Adventures package. Whether you’re chasing a few days of barra action or a week-long escape with mates, we’ll tailor the trip to suit your group — all you need to do is show up and fish.
Operating Mar-Dec with exclusive fishing access to Snake Bay, Shark Bay, Jessie River, The Johnson, Robinson Inlet and Goose Creek plus a vast range of coastal creek and reef fishing options.
A Typical Tiwi Adventure
Most guests arrive on the island the evening before their fishing adventure begins.
You’ll depart Darwin at 4:30pm on a scenic 30-minute flight over the Tiwi Islands, landing at Snake Bay. Our friendly lodge managers will meet you and take you on a short 10-minute journey through Milikapiti community to the lodge.
Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome and a quick rundown of your itinerary before casting practice on the lawn with your experienced guide.

- Dinner: 7:00pm
Your first full fishing day begins early — continental breakfast at 6:00am, hot breakfast at 6:30am — then it’s time to hit the water.
You’ll spend the day exploring pristine Tiwi waterways, returning around 4:00pm to relax, refresh, and swap fishing tales on the deck with a cold beverage in hand.
If you’re interested in Indigenous art, we highly recommend a visit to the local Jilamara Arts Centre (jilamara.com) after fishing.
Flights back to Darwin can be arranged on the final day of your fishing trip or the following morning, depending on your preference.
Deposits
A 25% per person deposit must be paid within 7 days to confirm your booking and reserve dates.

There are more than 50 species of fish that inhabit the waters of the Tiwi Islands.
